Mammals of Sri Lanka for Children

Do cats eat bats?... Do bats eat cats?
For its small size, Sri Lanka has extraordinary mammalian diversity, with 96 species, including 21 endemics that live only on the island. But 58 of these species are threatened with extinction.
This book is written especially for children, so they learn about half of the mammals of Sri Lanka – where they live, how they move, how they feed, what time of day they are active and whether they live alone or in groups. The book awakens curiosity that will encourage a child to learn more about mammals.
