Nanda Pethiyagoda Wanasundera has been a freelance journalist for nearly four decades, usually writing pseudonymously. Career-wise, she was a teacher for twenty years after she obtained her BA (Hons) in English Literature, Economics and Western Classical Culture. She has authored books on Sri Lanka, fiction and non-fiction, the latter inclusive of a collection of short stories and two novels.
