A communications specialist by profession and a counsellor by vocation, Roshanara has long moonlighted as a creative writer. A student of theology, she believes implicitly in the power of the written word to bring justice, healing, hope and reconciliation.
‘Oddamavadi – The Untold Story’ was, from the outset, a sacred undertaking for Roshanara: a chance to raise a voice for the voiceless, to shine light on the trauma the Sri Lankan Muslims suffered during the pandemic.
