Kirupaimalar Hoole received her science degree from the University of Jaffna in 1978, her Msc in Business Information Systems from the University of East London in 1993 and MSc in Library Science from the University of Colombo in 1998. She joined the University of Jaffna Library in 2012 where she was until her retirement.
